Outfitters

Outfitters are people that give others experiences and adventures in the wilderness that they would not normally get. It is the safe way to have fun in rafting, fishing trips, backpacking, horse back riding, snowmobile, etc. They are experienced in the field and is the way for a novice or beginner to go and have fun safely. National Forest

There are two major forests near Pagosa Springs, the San Juan National Forest and Weminuche Wilderness Area. They covers over 3 million acres of forest, Continental Divide, rivers and lakes.
